Cricut demo day

Yesterday was fun and factful. (Yes, mom is making up words, again!) We learned from each other, made new friends, and hooked another cricuteer. Michelle and I always put a warning on the label...The first one's free. Just kidding. But, once you Cricut, you will be hooked. If you have a machine and don't already love it, haven't used it much -- GASP! -- or just want to know what you are missing, join me for Tuesday's Cricut 101. It comes with a money back guarantee. If you don't have AhHah! moments that make you feel like you learned your $15 worth, I will refund your class fee. And, just so you know, no one has ever taken me up on it. Be there or be square. (Yeah, and I say 'cool' all the time, too.) Gotta love me! The Mom.

Cricut classes & events

Okay...let's try that again...

Sorry ladies no Friday the 13th crop. Kinda hard to crop in the dark! And, like Jody says, just think if you were wearing black, we'd never see you. Story goes like this. The permit debacle ended in a glorious piece of paper. But, it started with us not being able to let anybody in. Come visit Michelle and she will tell you all about it.

This Friday we did get to crop and two of my daughters were here. Listen, that's Michelle yelling. Ask her about it when you see her. We will try the Friday the 13th crop in March so I can make it up to you -- that's Debra and Yvonne!!!! Oh, and about Saturday, since no lights, no fun at the Pink House. Sorry again, Ladies. For you, we will make it up to you tomorrow. The big Cricut demo day is Saturday 2/21. Demos all day, cartridge swaps, challenges, and of course, the obligatory snack sharing.

If you are considering getting into the Cricut world, come play with us. If you are frustrated or just have a question. Stop by and see The Mom. I'll leave the lights on for you.

Combo crafting event at the new digs

It has been a long 4 weeks and Michelle has worked us all like dogs. (Just kidding, Honey!) The scraping (that's with one 'p'), cleaning, moving, painting, and of course the laughing, kept us all busy. Yeah, Amber, even The Mom! Special, special thanks to all of you for your help and your support. BTW, there is still lots to do...

But, I digress. The big news is: The new Cricut toys are here and we are going to play on Saturday. During the Steel Magnolia's crop, some of the ladies are going to be cutting their hearts out for the Heart Association. We will have some newcomers to the crop for charity get together this weekend and some old timers, that is seasoned Cricut Swarmers. Man, I am just making up words left and right.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. Since Becky didn't choose the challenger this time, I am electing --- ME! I think I'll pick hearts. Okay, so that isn't exactly a surprise for Valentine's Day, but here's the catch. A prize will go to the most creative use and least traditional of hearts and if you use George, that's a bonus! We'll vote for the winner after all the secrets are divulged. I know it's Tuesday night and you may not have time to make a project before Saturday, so don't worry about it. That will make your vote carry more weight.

Big heads up, Ladies! The space is going fast for the Friday the 13th crop, so call us now to reserve your spot. Wear all black and The Mom will reward you. Gotta love me.
