ScrapCessories storage is here!

ScrapCessories had their famous Cricut cartridge storage on backorder for a while. Now they're back! This innovative system has been a favorite since we started carrying the products. If you haven't seen it in action, come on down to check it out. Those of you already in the know can tell everyone what a great storage solution this is.

HUGE Cricut Swarm in December!

Do not miss this one, my fellow Cricuteers!
On the second Saturday of each month, we hold a Cricut Swarm at Charleston Scrapbooking. If you've been to one, you know how much fun goes on. If not, you have really been missing out on some really good info from other Cricut lovers.

On December 11th, bring your Cricut, cartridges, and any projects you have going. You are invited to play with us from 9:30am-5:30pm. Come later in the day, if you like, and stay as long as you can. Your questions will be answered and you'll be amazed by what you'll learn from everyone else at the Swarm. They'll also let you use their cartridges and steal their designs. What a hoot they are!

A big bonus in December is that we are entered to win some goodies from Provo Craft if our photo is chosen for posting on their web site. Let's make this the best Swarm yet!

Call ahead 843-569-3559 to reserve your table space.

There is never a fee for this monthly event.

12 hour croppers had a great time on Sunday 11/7

We played games, laughed, cropped, had demos and make-n-takes, and of course yacked our heads off! Tamara showed the ladies how to make a beautiful 3-D star from 3x3 squares, and Jackie made one from 8x8 paper. We made a card using the Thanksgiving cartridge, inking techniques, and Making Memories Fall blossoms collection. I demo'd the eCraft and Ramon loaded the design software for the new machine. Looks like Design Studio on the screen, but operates a lot differently.

Heather and Robin made more of Deb's famous Halloween in Wonderland tag books, using the Bind-it-All. The crew is going to adapt the formula to use the awesome Graphic 45 Christmas line that just came in today. They'll be in to pick it up as soon as they see this post. You'd better get yours soon.

We ended the night with the drawing for the trifecta prize! Heather Bellin held the winning ticket. Thanks to Ramon for being such a good sport when I put him on the spot to do the drawing in front of some very anxious ladies. Heather won the kit and kaboodle of paper crafts, an album kit, a journal kit, and a card kit, with full instructions on DVD and all materials. Other prizes awared throughout the day, making for some very happy croppers.

Ginger came in to help with the crop and we worked together like we have always been doing it. I am really happy to have her on the team. You'll be seeing Ginger more as we gear up for the Holidays.

Cricut Demo Day

We had an amazing time playing with the Cricut and eCraft machines on Cricut Demo Day this week. Even though the eCraft is not a Cricut machine, we managed to work it in. Craftwell's machine does not use a mat, is cool and sleek, and comes with software comparable to Design Studio. There are 4 vibrant colors to choose from. It uses SD cards, instead of cartridges, and can cut fonts from your PC. The eCraft also uses gel pens! Call The Mom for details about purchasing the machine at a discount. 843-569-3559

Don't worry, I am still the Cricut Queen and to prove it, I just got the Imagine. I now have all 6 machines by Cricut and the Design Studio software! Chirp, chirp! What's next, Provo Craft?

Be sure to make the Cricut Swarm on Saturday 11/13 so we can play together. There is no fee for the event and you will learn so much from your fellow Cricuteers. Just bring your machine and cartridges and get ready to have the best time ever. 9:30am-5:30pm Please call ahead to reserve your table space. 843-569-3559
