Class Schedule

Wanted to make sure everyone had the updated class and swarm schedule...

Tonight - Thursday 5/21 @ 6:30pm - is the Cricut Advanced class, focusing on the use of multi-media.

Next Thursday 5/28 @ 6:30 pm is Intro to Design Studio.

By popular demand, I worked another Cricut 101 in on a Tuesday 6/2 @ 6:30pm. That one's for Emmy Lou and Emma Lou. No, really!

Thursday 6/4 @ 6:30pm is the second of a new series of Design Studio classes. just because I love Tamara and Andrene! Can't wait to see what comeback Andrene has for that one.

The BIG news is: The next Swarm is scheduled for Sunday 5/31 from 1-6pm. Come in and play with us!

Although a little off the Cricut track, we have added two great classes to the June schedule. Becky is back and her tear bears and such are better than ever! Check your calendar for Thursday 6/25 @ 6:30pm.

Michelle (the other one) is working on a surprise for you. She is an amazing talent. Watch for her sample on Michelle's email (you know who I mean). No pressure on "the other Michelle."

Friday crop is cancelled tomorrow 5/22 so Mom can take a night off.

Post on the blog to let me know what you would like to see on the schedule. Because we all know

THE MOM ROCKS!!!

See you soon.

George for Sale!!!

Got George? If so, I know you love it. If not, I can help you with that. One of our Cricuteers ended up with two. (Don't ask.) And she will take $60 for it. Post on the blog if you are interested, or drop by to pick up.

Classes and events

The Cricut Swarm was fun today -- especially for Mz Evlyne! She was the first one at the Swarm and stayed on through Friday crop. We all had fun playing with new cartridges and exchanging ideas. There are some new gotta-have fonts out there and we are all excited about getting our very own. Here are some of my faves: Storybook, of course, Don Juan, Lyrical Letters, Jubilee, and Graphically Speaking. Life's a Beach is at the top of most everyone's wish list. Michelle B was showing off with that one! She had everyone drooling over it.

Speaking of our other Michelle, she has a class coming up that will make you change your schedule to attend. She will wow you with her gift of making ordinary items fun and show-off worthy. Watch for the schedule on the blog.

Be sure to check out Becky's Carribean Bears on Wednesday, 5/20, at 6:30 pm.

I have a schedule change on the Cricut class for Thursday, 5/21, at 6:30pm. It will be a 101 class. Just for Emmy Lou and you. If you want to love your Cricut, come see me. Satisfaction guaranteed! And a whole lot of fun.

Looking for posts with new ideas. Thanks to Tamara for the suggestion of a Design Studio Intermediate class. I am working on the curriculum now and will have one on the schedule soon. Let us know what's new and fun for you in your Cricuting. Give a challenge for the next Swarm.

Don't forget...Bunco has moved to Tuesday 5/19, at 7pm. If you've been you know it's a hoot, and if you haven't, you are missing out!

Put your fun face on and come see us. The Mom

Cricut demo day

Yesterday was fun and factful. (Yes, mom is making up words, again!) We learned from each other, made new friends, and hooked another cricuteer. Michelle and I always put a warning on the label...The first one's free. Just kidding. But, once you Cricut, you will be hooked. If you have a machine and don't already love it, haven't used it much -- GASP! -- or just want to know what you are missing, join me for Tuesday's Cricut 101. It comes with a money back guarantee. If you don't have AhHah! moments that make you feel like you learned your $15 worth, I will refund your class fee. And, just so you know, no one has ever taken me up on it. Be there or be square. (Yeah, and I say 'cool' all the time, too.) Gotta love me! The Mom.

Cricut classes & events

Okay...let's try that again...

Sorry ladies no Friday the 13th crop. Kinda hard to crop in the dark! And, like Jody says, just think if you were wearing black, we'd never see you. Story goes like this. The permit debacle ended in a glorious piece of paper. But, it started with us not being able to let anybody in. Come visit Michelle and she will tell you all about it.

This Friday we did get to crop and two of my daughters were here. Listen, that's Michelle yelling. Ask her about it when you see her. We will try the Friday the 13th crop in March so I can make it up to you -- that's Debra and Yvonne!!!! Oh, and about Saturday, since no lights, no fun at the Pink House. Sorry again, Ladies. For you, we will make it up to you tomorrow. The big Cricut demo day is Saturday 2/21. Demos all day, cartridge swaps, challenges, and of course, the obligatory snack sharing.

If you are considering getting into the Cricut world, come play with us. If you are frustrated or just have a question. Stop by and see The Mom. I'll leave the lights on for you.

Combo crafting event at the new digs

It has been a long 4 weeks and Michelle has worked us all like dogs. (Just kidding, Honey!) The scraping (that's with one 'p'), cleaning, moving, painting, and of course the laughing, kept us all busy. Yeah, Amber, even The Mom! Special, special thanks to all of you for your help and your support. BTW, there is still lots to do...

But, I digress. The big news is: The new Cricut toys are here and we are going to play on Saturday. During the Steel Magnolia's crop, some of the ladies are going to be cutting their hearts out for the Heart Association. We will have some newcomers to the crop for charity get together this weekend and some old timers, that is seasoned Cricut Swarmers. Man, I am just making up words left and right.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. Since Becky didn't choose the challenger this time, I am electing --- ME! I think I'll pick hearts. Okay, so that isn't exactly a surprise for Valentine's Day, but here's the catch. A prize will go to the most creative use and least traditional of hearts and if you use George, that's a bonus! We'll vote for the winner after all the secrets are divulged. I know it's Tuesday night and you may not have time to make a project before Saturday, so don't worry about it. That will make your vote carry more weight.

Big heads up, Ladies! The space is going fast for the Friday the 13th crop, so call us now to reserve your spot. Wear all black and The Mom will reward you. Gotta love me.
