Steel Magnolias Crop for Charity

If you missed today's crop, you missed a FUN day! Lots of goodies, pizza, pasta, snacks and of course, Avon-Becky's "football hat" Oreo cookies. The Steel Magnolias gather to crop and yack and eat for a good cause. We draw a check directly to the charity being supported that day. Saturday's donations are going to the American Cancer Society, in memory of Debbie Rodriguez. Attached is the information on her memorial services in Beaufort. If you would like to be added to the distribution list for the Steel Magnolias, just send an email to The Mom (That's Me!) at Karla@ScrappinatThePinkHouse.com
Join us for Sunday's Cricut Swarm. Bring projects to show off--I mean to share ideas, right Lisa?--questions for your fellow Cricut addicts, and your cartridges. We swap around for the day to try out new ones, but only for the day. Don't worry, you'll go home with all your cartridges. And, oh yeah, in the Debbie tradition, don't forget the snack to share.

Just an update -- Debbie is in good spirits and we are looking forward to her being home soon. I wonder why she hasn't posted yet?...

Next swarm is set for Saturday, 12/6, 11am-5pm. Bring your cartridges and your machine to have fun, experiment, and to exchange ideas, fonts and images! And, if you bring a snack to share, you'll be first in line to borrow the cartridge you are itching to try! Yeah, you know which one I mean. Sunday Lorna brought Tinkerbell, Becky brought Storybook, and Michelle brought her library. We had Doodle Charms, Accent Essentials, George, Disney and more.

If you have a favorite project, bring it and tell us about your creation, so we can do it, too. Emulation is the highest form of flattery, right? Let us know if you are coming. There are plenty of outlets and we'll make room for you.

See you on Saturday!
